Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Claife Viewing Station, Claife Station Cottage Kemble Drive, Far Sawrey LA22 0LW England
Visit Claiffe Viewing Station where you can admire panoramic views of Windermere through coloured panels and listen out for the Aeolian wind harp on a blustery day. Learn about the building’s colourful history and relax in the quaint café in the courtyard.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Hawkshead, Hawkshead, Ambleside, Lake District, Cumbria, England
Enjoy a stroll around the ancient village of Hawkshead that has flourished since Norse times, belonging to Furness Abbey until the 12th Century. Monks owned Hawkshead Hall, just outside the village, of which the National Trust owned Hawkshead Courthouse is all that remains. Hawkshead is still the same tiny village of higgledy-piggledy houses, archways, and squares beloved by William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Tarn Hows, Lake District National Park, Coniston LA21 8AQ England
A beauty spot that must not be missed, yet is not entirely typical of the local landscape, for the tarn is partly artificial, being three tarns joined together in the 19th Century and most of the trees surrounding it are conifers. The attraction is its sheer beauty, surrounded by thick woodland, and views towards Wetherlam, the Helvellyn range and the Langdale Pikes.

Stop At: Great Langdale, Great Langdale, Lake District, Cumbria, England
Great Langdale is a valley in the Lake District National Park in North West England, the epithet Great distinguishing it from the neighbouring valley of Little Langdale. Langdale is also the name of a valley in the Howgill Fells, elsewhere in Cumbria.
