What to expect During this tour?

This is a private tour and you will have the vehicle to yourself. This fully guided tour will take you to some of the most important parts of the Roman Wall created by the Emperor Hadrian in AD123. Our expert guides will explain about the Roman army at that time, why they were here and why they built the Wall. You will get to see amazing artifacts that have been discovered in the excavations at Vindolanda as well as seeing some amazing scenery looking out from the Wall. You will get an insight into what life must have been like for those Roman soldiers posted to this most northern frontier of the Roman Empire.
