Our first stop in the Lake District is the underground service station on the edge of the National Park. Here you can make use of the facilities and maybe grab a quick refreshment to tide you over until lunch

Stop At: Castlerigg Stone Circle, Castle Lane Underskiddaw, Keswick CA12 4RN England
A place of mystery and beauty, Castlerigg Stone Circle lies in the northern part of the Lake District. Admire the surrounding views of mountains and valleys as you feel the magical power simmering under the surface of the ground in this mystical Neolithic Monument

Stop At: The Grasmere Gingerbread Shop, Church Cottage, Grasmere LA22 9SW England
Delight in the aroma of freshly baked Gingerbread before stepping back in time into this quaint little shop where you will be greeted by characters from Victorian days. Oh Yes, don’t forget to stock up on that lovely Gingerbread….it is world famous.
