Why choose this London tour ?
This private walking tour will transport you back to the dark and chilling world of the Whitechapel Murders in East London. Follow in the footsteps of the notorious and never identified Jack the Ripper.
During the autumn of 1888, Jack the Ripper murdered, at least, five women with several other horrendous killings before and afterwards that may or may not have been carried out at the hands of the man voted The Worst Briton of All Time.
Explore the old streets of Whitechapel on this private 2.5 hour day-time tour (so you can actually see everything properly) and learn what life was like for the people who lived here.
We’ve had everyone from school-children to corporate bankers on this tour as well those who just want to see a different side of London. With the seal of approval of homicide detectives from New York, London, Melbourne and many other places and even enjoyed by some of the team behind the BBC show ‘Ripper Street’.

What makes Private Tour: Jack the Ripper Day Time Walking Tour in London a unique experience ?
We will explore the streets of Whitechapel, Spitalfields and Aldgate and follow in the footsteps of Jack The Ripper as we visit the locations of his murders and those strongly linked with him.
Open for the first time in almost a decade, we will visit Durward Street and the murder location of Mary Ann Nichols
Where the first victim in the Whitechapel Murders died and where an investigation into a body part revealed terrible findings. Nearby we will see where the inquests into several of the murders took place. The Elephant Man also lived here during these years and 80 years later the streets were the home to the legendary gangsters, The Krays.
This still atmospheric street was the site where Elizabeth Stride met her end, the first in the infamous Double-Event night of murders.
As well as visiting this icon of the East-End, nearby we will visit the two locations where a chief suspect for Jack The Ripper lived.
We will follow in the footsteps of Martha Tabram down this eerie cobbled lane. Sadly Martha never made it to the end of the street, hopefully we will & round the corner we will see where Emma Smith was fatally attacked,
A key spot in last night of Mary Anne Nichols
This is where the tour begins and one of the pubs closely associated with Jack The Ripper
We will pass down the famous Brick Lane, once in the very heart of Jack The Ripper territory. Then as now with a bustling immigrant community,
The site of the murder of poor Annie Chapman and nearby we will learn of two more deaths that Jack The Ripper was indirectly responsible for.
One of the pubs most closely linked with Jack and his victims.
Dorset street itself isn’t exactly here any more but we will visit the site of the murder of Mary Kelly and learn of its greater importance both in the Jack The Ripper killings and its wider legacy for police around the world.
Now a mouse but in 1888, Brick Lane Synagogue. One of many in the area then for the growing Jewish community of the East-End.
See the church that played a pivotal role in the lives of the people in 19th Century Whitechapel and learn of the terrible poverty that was all around.
We will pass through the very same market that was here in 1888 and right in the middle of some of the murder locations we will visit.
