Stow-on-the-wold not only offers a wonderful stop for lunch for both locals and tourists, but has an excellent selection of unique antique, wool and souvenir shops for your perusal. It’s delightful church goes back over a thousand years, with its mystical door inspiring the likes of J.R.R Tolkien and his Lord of The Rings Trilogy.
