Discover the best things to do in London on our 4-hour walking tour of the city’s highlights. We begin our London adventure in front of the magnificent Tower of London, a medieval fortress steeped in tales of royal intrigue, betrayal and murders. Our Expert Guide will share many historical facts but also fun legends about the events and people who shaped the history of this vibrant and diverse capital.
We’ll take in the sights and sound of Thames and take amazing photos in front of the iconic Tower Bridge, then head to the Tower Hill Memorial to pay our respects to the casualties from WWI and WWII. Along the way we will trace London’s timeline as illustrated by the Sundial and we will discover the Roman Wall Remnants, giving us an insight into what the city looked like in ancient times.
We’ll pass the All Hallows by the Tower and explore the forest of modern skyscrapers that dominate the London skyline. To make this experience even better, we’ll take you to the Garden at 120, the largest public rooftop space in the city. You’ll enjoy sweeping views in a tranquil setting away from the street crowds.
Next, we’ll experience a bit of Victorian-era London as we visit the charming Leadenhall Market brimming with shops and eateries. We’ll also pause at the Monument to the Great Fire of London and learn how the city, its architecture and society has changed after this tragic event.
Next, we’ll explore the churchyard of St Paul’s Cathedral and admire its 111m-high dome and stunning architecture inspired by the Basilica of St Peter in Vatican. The tour will end at the Millennium Bridge, an elegant steel suspension footbridge that you may recognize from the Harry Potter films!
