Along with Oxford, Cambridge is our other world renowned centre of university education and what an inspiring place it is. History seeps outs of every stone as you wonder around this beautiful centre of learning and walking from one college to another through courtyards and into ornate chapels. Like Oxford instantly recognisable from numerous television series and films.
Why not walk over the famous bridges that span the River Cam or better still have a trip on the river by one of the boaters.
Cambridge also has its fair share of churches and museums and a great historic market square as well as quaint old shops selling pastries, chocolates and sweets that are just divine.
We will travel from your hotel in London to Cambridge by private car and complete the final mile or so using the Park and Ride system as cars are generally not allowed in the old city centre but this all adds to its charm.
