London Trip Overview
This tour combines the key sites that make up the Battle of Britain Heritage Walk in Central London with a visit to The Battle of Britain Bunker in Uxbridge in North West London. As part of the walking tour we visit the many relevant statues and monuments that commemorate this dramatic turning point in the Second World War and the Churchill War Rooms. Along the way you will hear some of the many stories of courage that have been kept alive from that key period in this country’s history. Then, by car, we visit the Battle of Britain Bunker where the original operations rooms have been preserved exactly as they were at the height of the battle, on 15th September 1940 at 11.30am.
