Williamson Square is the starting point of the tour. Here guests will see one of the first squares in the city, which is home to one of Liverpool’s major film locations as well as numerous other cultural sights – including the Williamson Square Fountain.
Whilst on Stanley Street, guests will see two important filming locations in the city and directly next to one of them, is one of Liverpool’s first statues, dedicated to The Beatles, which is the Eleanor Rigby statue.
Guests will learn of the hidden history of the statue as well as that of the two film locations which are merely yards away.
During the tour, we take a stroll down Mathew Street where you will see the exterior of the world-famous Cavern Club. Bookers will learn the history of the street along with information regarding the many popular musicians who have played in the venue over the years.

As the tour approaches the famous River Mersey, Gary, your guide, will take you back in time to discuss the significance of the Strand – The 8 mile road that links together many of the Docks in Liverpool and how vital this road was in the advances of cinema.
On the banks of the wonderful River Mersey, you will be able to take in the spectacular views of the “Three Graces” of Liverpool. The Port of Liverpool, The Cunard and the Royal Liver Building – arguably the three most iconic buildings in the city.

A stop mid-way down Dale Street, will reveal all of the secrets about a particular scouse cinematic staple and you will also discover why this road happens to be a personal favourite of Tom Hardy.
The penultimate stop of the tour is at the magnificent William Brown Street. Here, guests will see the mesmeric views of St John’s Gardens, the World Museum, Central Library, the Walker Art Gallery, County Sessions House and much more.
