Passing by the site of many notable women’s social & political union meetings of the early 1900’s, you will arrive at the Walker Art Gallery. Here you will learn about some of the fascinating women, including those still on display, that have helped to make this publicly owned art galley the national gallery of the North.

The tour will end in the shadow of grade I listed St George’s Hall where you will about it’s place in history of the suffragist movement and the intriguing role this splendid Neoclassical building has had on modern day cookery!
