A drink for each person in each pub is included in the tour price though of course, soft and sometimes hot drinks are available if preferred.
We normally meet outside Oakham Railway Station which is easy for day-trippers from London (also Nottingham, Peterborough, and Leicester) but this tour is also perfect for anyone staying in one of the lovely hotels in Rutland, all just a short taxi ride away.

It’s not often Oakham makes the news, but the unveiling of the first and only memorial statue to the late Queen Elizabeth in April 2024 was that time. Come and see it for yourself. Personally I think the corgis make it!
We finish our tour at this award-winning Tap pub. Oakham has its very own brewery with a fantastic range of drinks right next to the station. It would be rude not to 🙂
