Charming town designed by Sir Oliver William Petty who was granted this area as a part of payment for mapping of Ireland. He laid out a modern town in 1670. Now Kenmare town is visited by many people because it’s beauty.

Coomakista, tip of Iveragh Peninsula. Stunning view at Kenmare Bay (Derrynane Bay) and Scariff and Deenish Islands, called by local people The bull, cow and a calf. Also Abbey Island with ruins of Abbey and graveyard. There is an access only during the low tide. On the other side we will see Ballinskellig Bay and Waterville town where Charlie Chaplin used to spend his summer vacation.

The highest cliffs in Kerry County, higher then Cliffs of Moher just much less known. This place is a real hidden gem of south Kerry. Up to a 1000 feet above sea level, stunning views. In a good weather we can see Skellig Islands. Skellig Michael island with mysterious beehive huts occupied by monks from 5th century and possibly by Keltic Druids before. Second Island is called little Skellig. Wild birds sanctuary. Over 40K nests of wild birds, mostly puffins and gannets.
