Killarney Trip Overview

My name is Joe and I will take you on a day to remember to Dingle town and the beautiful Dingle Peninsula. Leaving Killarney we will pass through Castlemaine, stop of at the world famous inch beach for a walk on the beautiful beach and see the Atlantic waves favoured by surfers, then it’s on to Dingle town for a coffee, a walk around for some shopping and sightseeing. Then we are of to do a tour of the Peninsula, stopping off at Aidan’s sheep farm and sight of the opening scene of the movie Far and Away staring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, then we stop where you want, maybe the Blasket Island centre, Louis Mulcahy pottery, Clogher beach providing stunning views of the Wild Atlantic, or maybe Gallarus Oratory, a sixth century church made entirely of stone resembling an upturned boat.

Then we are back to Dingle for a look at the local pubs and some refreshments. Whatever you wish I will design the day around what you would like to do. I guarantee you a wonderful experience.

Itinerary

Stop At: Dingle Peninsula, Ireland

Arriving in Dingle town from Killarney, we will have a coffee, take a walk around Dingle , do a little shopping, then we go and drive around the world famous Dingle Peninsula. We will stop to meet Aidan, a local sheep farmer, in spring and summer there are usually lambs to hold and feed. Aidan has ancient Bee Hive huts on the land , 2000 year old Irish settlement. We carry on to tour around the Peninsula, stopping off for photos and at some interesting points. Then we go back to Dingle for a meal, some more sight seeing and maybe a beer!

Stop At: Dingle Bay, Dingle Ireland

Take a boat trip to see Dingle’s wild Dolphin, Fungi.

Our boat captain Lawrence will take us out to see Fungi with a tour of the bay and some local history of landmarks like the light house .

Fungi is in the bay since 1984 and seems happy and playful to see the boats arrive.

Visit the 6th Century Chapel on the Dingle Peninsula

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Conor Pass, Ireland

Weather permitting we will drive to Dingle via the Mountain Conor Pass taking in Stunning views of Tralee Bay and a great photo opportunity.
