Itinerary
You will be greeted on arrival by a member of the abseil team who will sign you in and answer any questions you may have. They will then take you to our kit-up area where the ground crew will provide you with all the equipment you need. You’ll be taken up in the lift to the top of the ArcelorMittal Orbit – 80m from the ground! Two at a time, you’ll be attached to the rigging system and step over the barrier onto the abseil platform. Our instructors will guide you through the abseiling technique and coax you over the edge as you lean back and start your descent. As you lower yourself towards the ground, don’t forget to take in the incredible views across London. With your feet firmly back on the ground, you be disengaged from the rigging. You’ll be leaving with adrenaline still pumping through you and a great sense of achievement!
