Stop At: St. Paul’s Cathedral, St Paul’s Churchyard, London EC4M 8AD England

Discover disaster and resurrection on this walk. St Paul’s is the Londoners’ church. It is where we come to celebrate, mourn and remember together. The astonishing architecture of Sir Christopher Wren makes the Cathedral a photographer’s heaven. Rising from the ashes of the Great Fire of London in 1666, St Paul’s became a symbol of resistance in WWII, and is now a place of spirituality and humanity in the heart of the capital. We’ll unfold the City’s history for you as well as show you astonishing views. When access is open, we will climb the steps to the Stone Gallery to get a birds-eye view over the City. From the top we descend to the crypt to explore the tombs and monuments of heroes like Winston Churchill, Florence Nightingale and the Duke of Wellington. We finish our visit in time for those wishing to attend evensong at 5pm.
