Itinerary
Day 1: London – Penrith – Lake District

This tour includes a return train journey from London Euston to Penrith. And on arrival in Penrith, your driver-guide meets you and takes you through the best of the Lake District.
Stop At: Aira Force Waterfall, Penrith CA11 0JS England
A lovely stone bridge crosses the fabulously flowing waterfalls.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Castlerigg Stone Circle, Castle Lane Underskiddaw, Keswick CA12 4RN England
You then travel towards Keswick, stopping outside the town to visit the mysterious Castlerigg standing stones, thought to have been built over 5,000 years ago and once a lively hub of ancient pagan rituals.
It’s like a miniature Stonehenge. Although you can decide whether it’s more beautiful.

Day 2: Lake Windermere – Hawkshead – Wordsworth Memorial Daffodill Garden
Stop At: Lake Windermere, Windermere England
You can choose to wander the shores or put on your sailing hat and go for a cruise.

Pass By: Ullswater Lake, England
The second largest lake in the English Lake District is famous for its sublime, tranquil beauty.
Stop At: Hawkshead Grammar School, Old School House Main Street, Hawkshead, Ambleside LA22 0NT England
After lunch you travel around the southern tip of Windermere and on towards Coniston Water. Your next stop is the picturesque conservation village of Hawkshead, where the poet William Wordsworth attended Grammar School.

Day 3: Whinlatter Pass – Honister Pass – London
Stop At: Honister Slate Mine, Honister Pass, Keswick CA12 5XN England
Simply relax and enjoy the gorgeous views of the monumental mountains.

Stop At: Derwent Water House Keswick on Derwentwater Nbiughl, Keswick CA12 5RF England
This gorgeous location was used in Star Wars – The Force Awakens. But the lasers and spaceships seem a million miles away from this peaceful area.

Pass By: Penrith Castle, Off Castlegate, Penrith CA11 7HZ England
Once you’ve eaten lunch, you head towards Penrith station. Your guide will drop you off at the station, where you catch your train back to London Euston Station.
