Why choose this England tour ?

We really are fortunate here; the River Avon is a slow, winding, dreamy escape of a river that meanders away from roads, towns and the noise of civilization into a quiet wilderness full of creatures large and small. I regularly see deer swimming in the river during the Summer and Red Kites are starting to shadow us as we paddle along too!

This is more than just your average ‘learn to SUP’ session, this is a complete experience giving you the skills to escape into nature safely on a paddleboard so you can explore these natural spaces from the unique perspective of walking on water! WAY more than just a SUP adventure this comprehensive beginner’s paddle lesson and SUP safari experience is all about skills, safety, confidence and tranquillity!

If you feel that your or a loved one’s neurodiversity or disability might impact your SUP adventure, please talk to us so that we can curate a plan and a safe space for you.

Special Instructions:

Thanks for booking your SUP session with us 🙂
Don’t forget to dress for the weather, light and quick-drying is usually best (gym/yoga attire) on a warm day and sensible layers on a colder day (We have a limited selection of light wetsuits, thermal rash vests and booties that you are welcome to borrow). I prefer barefoot on the board but old trainers or water shoes are fine. Maybe a towel and a change of clothes, just in case.

Sunglasses are not known to float and prescription glasses are expensive so be mindful, perhaps swap specs for lenses but don’t worry, we’ve got secure straps you can borrow if you need them.
Don’t forget sun cream if the sun is out and a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

Please aim for about 10 minutes before your session time to park and get settled in 🙂
My new weather wand hasn’t arrived yet so if conditions become unsuitable (high winds are our enemy) then I will be in touch so we can rearrange.

You will need to write down an emergency contact number on our waiver so maybe jot one down before you set off (nobody knows phone numbers anymore!).

A few tips on how to find us are on this web page: https://www.witteringsup.co.uk/how-to-find-wittering-sup/

Any concerns, questions or problems just give me a shout and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon!
