Pick up from your accommodation in Edinburgh and travel across the stunning Forth road Bridge, where you get a chance to view the Historic Forth Railway Bridge that dates back to 1890 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then travel through some picturesque scenery on our way to Stirling. It is here we enjoy the stunning view from the elevated position of the Castle grounds that also takes in The Wallace Monument. We do not enter the Castle itself.

After leaving Stirling Castle grounds we travel north/westerly through Doune and Callander towards the Trossachs on the edge of Loch Lomond. This stunning part of the world is not to be missed. It is here where we stop to meet the famous, “Highland Coo`s”, no visit to Scotland can be without a photographic opportunity of these magnificent animals.

After leaving the Trossachs on the banks of Loch lomond we travel northwards through some of the countries most beautiful scenery in the Glencoe Mountain Resort. At a point near to the famous Three Sisters you will get a chance to see and photograph perhaps the most photographed White House in Glencoe. This house which was formerly a Crofters House and is now owned by the National trust and Scottish Mountaineering Club. It sits at the bottom of the dramatic heights of Buachaille Etive Mor.

As you travel a short distance from, The White House you are met by the famous Three Sisters, officially known as the Mountain peaks of Aonach Dubh, Beinn Fhada and Gearr Aonach. This area is also made famous by the Glencoe Massacre, when 38 Men, Women and Children from the Clan Macdonald were murdered by members of the Clan Campbell, who had previously sought shelter with the Macdonalds.

The Glencoe Visitor Centre is situated a short distance from the village of Glencoe. This eco-friendly visitor centre has a number of attractions, none more so than a man-made replica of a Turf-Creel house. The glen was once home to hundreds of Highlanders, and you can get a flavour for how the MacDonalds of Glencoe lived in the reconstruction of the 17th-century turf and creel house. This unique showcase of traditional building crafts can be admired at the mountain viewpoint just outside the visitor centre.
