The Edinburgh Old Town and Royal Mile runs through the heart of Edinburgh’s ancient city over 900 years, connecting the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, perched high on a base of volcanic rock, with the splendorous Palace of Holyroodhouse, resting in the shadow of Arthur’s Seat. The Dean Village is a tranquil green oasis on the Water of Leith, only five minutes walk from City centre of Edinburgh.
