Before commencing the tour, your private guide will explain why Charlotte Square is the most elegant and desirable area of the New Town of Edinburgh.

Your guide will take you on a short loop through the Dean Village and over the Water of Leith, explaining how the area evolved over the centuries.

We will follow the Water of Leith walkway via St Bernard’s Well and on to Stockbridge. Once at Stockbridge we will make our way to the beautiful hidden gem that is Circus Lane. Comparable with a cozy little village lane in the heart of the city.

We will walk through the perfectly manicured gardens sitting below the towering Edinburgh Castle. This is the ideal opportunity for that perfect picture of the Castle and the surrounding area.

We briefly stop in this area to discover the earliest buildings to be built here in the New Town.
