You will be guided through the grounds of Edinburgh Castle. It is worth to note that we can not take you inside any of the Caste Buildings (no tour operator can) but we will give you the rich history of the Castle, it’s place in Scottish history and many of it’s more unusual tales so that after the tour you will be able to explore the Castle with a much deeper understanding than a casual visitor.

- Please Note – Children, aged 15 and under, will not be able to join the tour unless accompanied by a responsible adult
- Edinburgh Castle is built on top of the core of an old volcano, the ground is often uneven and at times steep. Be prepared to be on your feet for the full duration of the tour. People with mobility issues may not get the most from this tour.

Please note that the tour DOES NOT meet at Edinburgh Castle, you will meet the guide outside Cafe Nero on the Royal Mile by the statue of Adam Smith, they will be holding a large green and white umbrella so will be nice and easy to spot.
