Collecting you directly from your place of stay in Dublin you’ll take the more scenic east coast route towards Wicklow Goal. One of Ireland’s top attractions, Wicklow Gaol tells the story of its prisoners through an interactive tour led by experienced and passionate actor guides. Spend some time tracing your Irish roots at the Wicklow Genealogy Room in Wicklow Goal.

Stop of for a bit of lunch or to purchase some world famous Throws & Blankets at Avoca Handweavers before heading on your way to Glendalough. Avoca is an Irish-run company that started as a manufacturer back in 1723. Avoca spans one of the world’s oldest surviving manufacturing companies.

Situated within the glacial valley of Glendalough, the monastic city, founded in the 6th Century by St. Kevin has been visited throughout history for its mystical temptations. Take some time to explore the grounds and see its unique wildlife. The Round Tower and Monuments provide a great opportunity to get some memorable photographs.

Powerscourt gardens also known as the “Garden of Ireland” were recently voted No.3 in the World’s Top Ten Gardens by National Geographic. Stretching over 47 acres the gardens offer a sublime blend of formal gardens, sweeping terraces, statues, ornamental lakes, secret hollows and rambling walks. The gardens were established and have been designed from 1731 onwards. 

You can be dropped off anywhere back in Dublin city as you wish. Other noteworthy stops you can take along this route are Sallys Gap, Lough Tay (Guinness Lake), Powerscourt Waterfall, A traditional Irish pub for some food and a Guinness or perhaps the Military Road. Please note entrance fees into the sites are excluded in the tour price. Entrance fees are priced approx €7-10 per Adult at all sites. Reduced student, senior and group rates are available from Powerscourt, Glendalough and Wicklow Goal.

The tour uses a mix between private guides and Taxi guides. All guides are very friendly, experienced, passionate and knowledgeable in the History of Ireland. Taxi guides give the advantage of using bus lanes in order to avoid being stuck in traffic around the city. Some of our vehicles are equipped with free WIFI. Please ask your guide should you wish to check the availability of their WIFI.
