See first hand the skill at which the dogs listen to every call and whistle almost like a puppet on a string and the control both man and dog over the direction the sheep are guided through the rolling field. Depending on the time of year you may have an opportunity to hold or even feed a baby lamb.

You will have some free time in Kilkenny to catch a bit of lunch in one of the many pubs and restaurants, sample a pint of the black stuff or sit and relax with a glass of wine. Shopping in Kilkenny will alway unearth some wonderful crafts and local produce. Or take a tour Kilkenny Castle, built in 1260 to control a fording-point of the River Nore and the junction of several routeways.
