Cliffs of Moher and heritage site. With an arrival time of approximately 10.45 AM, there are 1.5 hours allocated to this attraction. All passengers are given a ticket by their guide to enter the Visitor Centre. Take a rest break and grab a lite bite to eat before heading out for a walk along the Atlantic Ledge. Beautiful scenery along the Cliff top with abundant wildlife. Your tour guide will offer lots of information as to where to go and what to visit along the walk and on some of the best locations from where to take the best photos dependant on the seasonal changes to the sunlight. While there your possessions on tour are securely locked in the coach and the same seats will be allocated for the duration of the day.

Dating 1415ad, this is the most complete and authentic medieval castle in Ireland. Originally a Viking trading site dated 970ad, you will see lots of medieval features, tower houses, raised entrance door with draw bridge over river, murdering hole over main doors, loop holes for bow and arrow, basement prison with ceilings too low to be able to stand, secret trap doors to drop unwanted visitors through impaled on spikes.
1646: as part of the Irish Confederate Wars in the “Wars of the Three Kingdoms” of most interest to American visitors is the siege of Bunratty Castle. The English forces commanded by Sir William Penn held the castle but alas was defeated. His life spared by the Irish forces. His son was born later in America went on to found Pennsylvania.
The Folk Park is set on 26 acres: rural farmhouses, village shops, streets, recreated & furnished as they appeared at that time according to their social standing.
