Newgrange is a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to 3,200 BC. Newgrange entrance procedures are strictly first come first serve and you are currently required to pre-book tickets online. We will send you details on how to book once you’ve completed the booking with us.

The Hill of Tara. Best known as the seat of the High Kings of Ireland, the Hill of Tara was at the height of its power a political and religious center in the early centuries after Christ. Tara was believed by worshipers to be a dwelling place of the gods and an entrance to the world of eternal joy. Legend has it that Saint Patrick first traveled to Tara on his mission to Ireland. Hear all about Celtic High Kings along the way through stories told by your driving guide.

If time allows you may see the Monasterboice ruins are the remains of an early Christian monastic settlement in County Louth in Ireland, north of Drogheda. The ruins are a national monument of Ireland and also give their name to the local village.

If time allows you may see Mellifont Abbey. Mellifont Abbey, was a Cistercian abbey located close to Drogheda in County Louth, Ireland. It was the first abbey of the order to be built in Ireland. In 1152, it hosted the Synod of Kells-Mellifont. After its dissolution in 1539, the abbey became a private manor house

If time allows you may get to visit Four Knocks. This can be an alternative sight to Newgrange if you do not get to secure tickets for Newgrange.

Fourknocks is a Passage Chamber Tomb built about 5000 years ago. It is located 10 miles southeast of Newgrange between Ardcath in County Meath and the Naul in County Dublin.

Fourknocks has a short passage leading into a wide pear shaped chamber with three smaller offset chambers. The original roof was probably a wooden structure supported by a central pole. The current concrete roof was constructed in 1952 at the end of a 2 year excavation

If you extend your day with your guide you could go visit Slane Castle.

Slane Castle is located in the village of Slane, within the Boyne Valley of County Meath, Ireland. The castle has been the family seat of the Conyngham family since it was built in the late 18th century, on land first purchased in 1703 by Brig.-Gen. Henry Conyngham.
