Begin in Millennium Square and enjoy views of the new developments in the city as well as the introduction story to St. Cuthbert and the beautiful Fenwick Lawson statue in the square itself.

Enter the medieval market square & discover the stories behind this architectual gem with its statues and market hall. If open, we will be able to enter the Victorian Market

Stop At: Prebends Bridge, Durham England
Cross the river Wear on Prebends Bridge – you will be rewarded with some of the best views onto Durham Cathedral (a view even WTM Turner admired).

Enjoy a splendid walk along the riverside of Durham’s river Wear, home to some of the best rowing athletes in the country. With any look you will see some training sessions… The views are marvellous onto the cathedral and castle.

Cross yet another bridge on the river Wear – this time it is the 15th Century Framwellgate Bridge leading back into the heart of the city.
