Itinerary
The tour of Liscannor Bay explores the coastline along this spectacular stretch of Clare! Starting in Liscannor at the pier, with spectacular panoramic views of Lahinch and the south coastline of Clare. As we hug the rugged coast, there is excellent opportunity to see many different species of seabirds, particularly in the bird sanctuary. Further along, unique caves appear – some with enormous cathedral-like ceilings, others with narrow passages. Sometimes we even catch a view of shy sea otters fishing inside the dark caves! Due to recent landslides, we do not enter the caves, but instead follow the rugged coastline.
This is a great tour for those looking for something a bit different, and perhaps a bit of adventure!
**Please note: this tour is extremely weather dependent and often cannot be run. This tour requires little to no swell, little to no wind and a close to full tide, in most cases we will be able to offer an alternative tour. THIS TOUR DOES NOT GO TO THE CLIFFS OF MOHER.
