From Hore Abbey, enjoy some time in Cashel town itself known for its great food and atmosphere before we continue to Cahir Castle. This Castle was used in the Film Braveheart and stands remarkably well preserved. One has the option to enjoy a guided tour, go self guided or perhaps enjoy a walk along the riverside before we return to Cork. Travel time from Cahir to Cork is 1 hour 15 minutes.

This charming town is a great place to stop and enjoy lunch. Take a stroll around Cashel and choose from one of the many great little bars, cafe’s and restaurants for refreshments before continuing on our great tour.
Cahir Castle is one of the best preserved medieval castles in Ireland and one can enjoy this castle either self guided or on a group tour. Located in the town of Cahir, you are free to choose to visit the castle or enjoy a beautiful parkland/riverside walk down to the location of the Swiss House before we return to Cork where sadly our tour ends.
