Tour starts on the morning of day 1 in Cork City.

Itinerary

Day 1: The tour begins in Cork city. In the afternoon there is a cycle in stunning West Cork.

Stop At: Kinsale, Kinsale, County Cork
The adventure tour begins in Cork City from where we visit Kinsale, the southern starting point of the Wild Atlantic Way. Kinsale is a beautiful harbour town with a rich maritime past. Explore Charles Fort and the Old Head of Kinsale.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Sheep’s Head Peninsula, Bantry Ireland
The tour travel to west Cork along the Wild Atlantic Way. Today’s activity is a cycle on the spectacular West Cork coastline. This is a beautiful cycle with excellent views along the route and it is a perfect opening to your Wild Atlantic Way Adventure. Tonight’s accommodation is in West Cork Hotel.

Day 2: Hike in the Spectacular Beara Peninsula, visit the town of Kenmare as well as a scenic drive.

Stop At: Glengarriff Nature Reserve, Esnamucky, Glengarriff Ireland
First stop is the Glengarriff Nature Reserve. Here we hike through native oak and hazel woodlands and along gentle flowing streams. The hike takes 2hrs 45 mins.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Kenmare, Kenmare, County Kerry
Then we travel over the spectacular Caha Pass to the town of Kenmare. In Kenmare we stop for lunch, after which you will have time to explore this heritage town and visit an ancient stone circle. The tour continues west on the Ring of Kerry and explores the beach towns on the route. Tonight’s accommodation is in Waterville, once a favourite holidaying spot for Charlie Chaplin.

Day 3: Explore the Iveragh Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry.

Stop At: Valentia Island, Valentia Island, County Kerry
Cycle on the splendid Valentia Island. Valentia Island is steeped in history and has some awesome scenery. There are views over the fishing village of Portmagee and out to the Skellig Islands, which were one of the filming locations for the latest instalment of Star Wars.

Stop At: Ring of Kerry, Ireland
On the third day the tour travels further along the Iveragh Peninsula to explore the Ring of Kerry, with its dazzling beaches and rugged beauty. On this drive you will pass through historic towns and villages as well as some of the most awesome scenery.

Stop At: Derrynane Beach, Darrynane More, Caherdaniel Ireland
The tour calls to Derrynane house and beach. The ancestral home of Daniel O’Connell.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 4: Cycle through Killarney National Park, visit Inch beach and Dingle town.

Stop At: Killarney National Park Cork Road, Killarney Ireland
Today you will get a real sense of this region’s boundless energy and exquisite beauty. The day begins with a cycle through the wonderful Killarney National Park and Muckross Gardens. The cycle takes in much of the original national park, a beautiful waterfall and a circuit of Muckross Lake.

Stop At: Muckross Abbey, N71 Killarney National Park, Killarney Ireland
Tours visits Muckross Abbey during the Cycle.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farms, Muckross House & Gardens The Killarney National Park, Killarney V93 EW28 Ireland
Tours visits the exterior of Muckross House and Gardens during the Cycle.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Inch Beach, Inch Ireland
After lunch the tour travels west from Killarney to the salty fresh-air playground of Inch Beach. Here you can take a life affirming plunge in the ocean.

Stop At: Dingle, Dingle, Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry
We then head further west to the jewel of Kerry, Dingle. Tonight’s accommodation is in Dingle. The small town of Dingle is perfect for a ramble. It has great local art and craft stores as well as excellent artisan cafes.

Day 5: Cycle on the Dingle Peninsula, explore dingle town.

Stop At: Dingle Peninsula, Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry
Travel along the Slea Head Drive on the Dingle Peninsula. This is a spectacular drive with views of rugged coastlines and some of Ireland’s remote Islands. Visit the early Christian site, Gallarus Oratory. We have lunch in Annascaul, the home of Ireland’s most famous explorer, Tom Crean. Today’s activity is an afternoon hike. The hike begins in a mixed deciduous Irish woodland of oak, ash, and chestnut trees. The walk rises slowly, climbing out of the valley to be greeted with panoramic views of the mountains of Cork and Kerry. Tonight’s accommodation is in Limerick.

Day 6: Vsit the spectacular Cliffs of Moher and explore the Burren National Park.

Stop At: Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, Liscannor Ireland
On the final day of the tour, there is still lots of adventure. Firstly, you will visit the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. You will arrive at the creatively built interpretative Centre via a hike along the top of the mesmerizing cliffs. It is a fantastic hike with views out over the Atlantic to the Aran Islands and is one of the lesser-used paths.

Stop At: The Burren National Park, Clare Heritage Centre, Corofin Ireland
After lunch in Doolin, the tour will visit the Burren National Park. The Burren is a unique landscape made up of limestone rock pavement, calcareous grassland, and ash and hazel woodland. The tour explores the Burren, where you can spot some fossilized ancient sea life and rare alpine flowers. You will have the option of returning to Dublin or Cork on the final day of the tour.
