Your host Mary grew up eating delicious meals cooked from fresh local produce and now enjoys cooking and sharing with travelers the food she grew up eating. Before starting her houseboat business, Mary was a professional caterer and catered for movie and television show crews. She now lives on a houseboat with her husband Jorn and opened up another houseboat to share the beauty of the Irish riverside with travelers. The floating barge travels on the Shannon river system between Enniskillen and Carrick-on-Shannon.

Feel free to let Mary know when making your booking which cuisine (Mediterranean influenced or traditional Irish) you prefer!

Notes: Between the months of Mar – Oct, Mary’s boat is docked in the South in Carrick-on-Shannon. Please reconfirm the exact meeting location with Mary at least three days before your experience as the boat is constantly traversing the river.
