During this private Chauffeur Driven Tour you will discover the Gower Peninsula. The UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Departing Cardiff, you will be taken through Swansea (Wales’ 2nd City) and around Swansea Bay. After a short stop at The Mumbles on the edge of Swansea Bay, you will be taken into The Gower itself.

You can sit back and take in the scenery as your driver drives you through the beautiful countryside, stopping as and when requested, so you can take photo’s.

On the tour, you will stop at Oxwich Bay and Port Eynon, where you will have the chance to stretch your legs and take in the coastline.

From Port Eynon, you wil have the choice of either walking (unguided) the coastal path, or being driven to Rhossili Bay.

Before leaving The Gower, and heading back to Cardiff, you will stop at Arthurs Stone and take in panoramic 360 degree views of the Gower, and if there is time, stop at Weobly Castle on the north coast of The Gower

After being driven through Swansea, there will be a brief stop by The Mumbles, where you can look out across Swansea Bay

Oxwich Beach is one of the most popular beaches in South Wales. With 2 1/2 miles of golden sands, sandbanks and woods that reach down to the beach

Further along the coast from from Oxwich Bay lies Port Eynon. Smaller and not as popular, but with views just as beautiful as Oxwich Bay. You will be driven through the sleepy picturesque village that was suspected to be used by smugglers in the 18th century

Regarded by many as the best beach in Wales, and a stunning cliff top walk.

Here you can walk out to Worms Head. During high tide, this becomes two rocky islands, just off the coast. Low tide reveals a causeway, which allows you walk out to the islands if you wish.

On Rhossili Beach, you can visit the ship wreck of the Helvetica, which became stranded during a storm in the 19th Century.

Sitting near the summit of the Cefn Bryn Ridge in the heart of the Gower, legend says the stone landed there after it was thrown by King Arthur.

Archealogical evidence reveals it is a neolithic burial chamber dating back over 4,000 years

If there is time, you can visit the ruins of Weobly Castle, a 14th Century fortified manor house with views across the Loughor Estuary on the northern coast of The Gower
