Our city tour starts and ends outside the cathedral. Your guide will give you a rich insight into the role and importance of the cathedral in the city’s history, it’s dramatic past and the role it serves today.
When you’re up on the city walls, you’re running along 2,000 years of history. Hear all about how the walls went from primitive Roman defences to the fortified stone work that you see today.
The highest point of the tour is on Dane John Mound, the mysterious hill in the city’s central park. From here you can see most of the city and get a sense of it’s scale and beauty.
