The most iconic and most popular place to visit in Cambridge. We view the Chapel from the street at King’s Parade and again during our punting tour from the river. Panoramic and closes-up shots are provided.

Stop At: Magdalene College, Magdalene Street, Cambridge CB3 0AG England
We walk up to Magdalene College from the riverside, stopping to enjoy the stunning river perspective and we then view it from Castle Hill and Magdalene Bridge. We also enjoy a fresh perspective from the river as we glide past on our punt later in the tour. Extensive panoramic and close-up shots are provided.

Stop At: The Backs, Queens’ Road, Cambridge CB3 9AH England
One of the most beautiful views available in all of England, the Backs is a major draw for visitors and residents alike. We punt down The Backs as part of our punting tour with panoramic and close-up shots of the beautiful gardens, grounds, bridges and architecture along the way.

Stop At: St. John’s College, St. John’s St., Cambridge CB2 1TP England
We view the St John’s college at various points in our walking tour, notably at the Gatehouse to the college (probably the most spectacular of all the college gatehouses) with panoramic and close-up shots provided. We also view the grounds of St John’s College including New Court, Cripps Court and The Bridge of Sighs during our time punting on the river.

The most popular and most photographed bridge in all of Cambridge, famously referred to by Queen Victoria as “so pretty and picturesque.” We approach the Bridge of Sighs on our punting tour and glide underneath it with time taken to appreciate the architecture and surroundings.

The quirkiest bridge on the river, subject to many legends which are discussed at length on our tour. We view the Mathematical Bridge as part of our walking tour, enjoying it’s perspective from the street with panoramic and close-up shots provided. We then punt underneath it during the punting leg of the tour.

One of only 4 round churches in England, we view this iconic building from the street during our walking tour. The church was closed at the time of filming however we are still able to explore and enjoy its architecture as we discuss its history.

Stop At: Trinity College, 31 Trinity Street, Cambridge CB2 1TB England
We walk to Trinity College and spend time at its gatehouse examining the architecture in some detail. This includes the statue of King Henry 8th, the Royal coat of arms and Sir Isaac Newton’s tree. We also visit the College on our punting tour with Trinity Library a particular highlight. At both the street and river locations, extensive close-ups and panoramic shots are provided.

Throughout our walking and punting tour we view many of the University Colleges from the street and river. Due to the global pandemic during filming, all of the College entrances are closed to visitors. However, with so few visitors in the city, we are able to enjoy unbroken views of the colleges. A range of close-ups and panoramic shots are provided to ensure that the stunning architecture of all the colleges visited are enjoyed in some detail.

One of the newest attractions to Cambridge but now one of its most popular. We view the clock in great detail with extensive close-ups and detailed explanations of its workings. We also take the time to examine The Chronophage or time-eater on top of the clock with close-up and wide camera views also provided.

The oldest church in all of Cambridgeshire at over 1000 years old. As we discuss its history and architectural features, we provide a variety of close-ups and panoramic shots from many different perspectives.

The Old Cavendish Laboratory is one of the most important sites in Cambridge with the ground-breaking work conducted there ranging from the splitting of the atom to the cracking of the DNA code. With many external close-ups and wide-lens shots provided, the history and achievements of the Old Cavendish Laboratory are laid bare.

The college has an open court rather than the closed quadrangle found in other Cambridge colleges and this means we are able to enjoy a stunning perspective on the college entrance, grassy court, dining room and student rooms.

We briefly visit the street entrance to the college with exterior shots provided and then spend more time on our punt exploring the grounds and architecture of the college in some detail. Highlights here include the Erasmus Building, the President’s Lodge and the Mathematical Bridge which are bathed in rich sunshine during our filming.
