The meeting point for your walking tour is King’s College on King’s Parade and your guide will be wearing a royal blue uniform ie a royal blue jacket, cap, beanie, or polo shirt. Please arrive 5 minutes early.
*Departure Point for your Punting Tour:*
The meeting point for your punting tour is Scudamores Boat yard, Mill Ln, Cambridge CB2 1RS. Meet our cashier at the meeting point who will get you booked on. Please arrive 5 minutes early.
Tour Details:
– Duration: 1.5 hours; basic fitness required.
– Wheelchair accessible. For punting, the wheelchair and buggies must be left at the station.
– Wear suitable clothing for potentially muddy terrain and bad weather.
– Only in the college premises, no pets are allowed (guide dogs exempt).
– No scheduled breaks; use the restroom before starting.
– Guides are Cambridge students with clear English, but different accents.
– Select the “King’s College option” if you want to include it in your tour; it’s not included with the standard ticket.
– Without King’s College, you will proceed directly to your punt tour after the walking tour. For instance, if your walking tour is at 11 AM, the punt tour is at 1 PM.
– With King’s College, you will have time to visit the chapel between the walking and punt tours. For example, with an 11 AM walking tour, visit King’s College at 12:30 PM, and the punt tour at 2 PM.
