Knockalla Coast Road leads to Fanad Head, jutting out into the North Atlantic in Co. Donegal between Lough Swilly and Mulroy Bay, where one of the world’s most beautiful lighthouses watches majestically over the water. En route, experience stunning views of Portsalon and Ballymastocker Bay.

Parallel to Fanad Head lies Horn Head Peninsula in Co. Donegal. It shelters the local town of Dunfanaghy from the Atlantic Ocean and is a fine vantage point to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Inishboffin and Tory Islands, Bloody Foreland, Melmore and Malin Head and Muckish and Errigal Mountains.
