Stop At: Stonehenge, Amesbury SP4 7DE England

Early arrival at Stonehenge to ensure the best experience without the crowds.

Entrance tickets to Stonehenge are reserved and picked up by your Mad Max guide who will also collect your audio information which is available in a selection of languages.

Plenty of time to visit the extensive information centre and wonderful displays. There is also a café for refreshments.

Please make sure you have cash to pay your guide on the day for your Stonehenge ticket. They will collect your tickets and audio guides for you. This allows us to save time and avoid the queues!

Stop At: Avebury Stone Circle, Herepath Marlborough, Avebury SN8 1RF England

Walk freely amongst these magnificent stones.

Soak up the atmosphere and the magical charm of this ancient site.

Try your hand at dowsing.

Time to wander around this pretty village with its 17th century thatched pub.

Photo stop. This is the largest human made object in prehistoric Europe.

It was built 4800 years ago and took longer to build than Stonehenge.

Its purpose is still one of the great unsolved mysteries.

Pass By: Cherhill White Horse and Monument, Off A4, Calne England

Photo Stop. Cherhill white horse is nearly 300 years old. This beautiful white horse is one of 13 in Wiltshire.

Carved out of the chalk hills they appear dramatic against the rich green landscape.

These are best viewed and most photogenic when seen from a distance.

Stop At: Lacock Abbey, Lacock, Chippenham SN15 2LG, UK

Lacock National Trust village is our location for lunch.

This is an unspoilt National Trust village on the edge of the Cotswolds and appears as if trapped in time. There has been no major construction here for the last 200 years.

Featuring in many films and period dramas including; Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Larkrise to Candleford and Downton Abbey to name a few.

Lacock Abbey is one of the few remaining Tudor Monasteries which became home to William Fox Talbot, a major pioneer in photography.

The Abbey is open from Spring to Autumn and more details are available on the National Trust website.

There are a selection of places to have lunch including 3 historical Inns, a restaurant, café and traditional bakery.

Stop At: Castle Combe Village, Off the M4, Castle Combe SN14 7HX England

Voted the prettiest village in England. An idyllic Cotswold village nestling in a wooded valley.

This has been a movie and historical drama film location for; Stardust, Warhorse & Poirot as well as the original Dr Dolittle.

Time to wander around the cobbled streets and take in the view from the medieval market cross.

Relax by the stream in front of the picture postcard weaver’s cottages.

Discover the medieval clock in St Andrews church and the 13th Century tomb of Sir Walter de Dunstanville.
